Historic Shipwrecks and Their Treasures!

The St. Augustine Shipwreck Museum & Gallery showcases an exclusive variety of exhibits and engaging experiences that uncover some of the world’s most famous and interesting shipwrecks, including the R.M.S. Titanic, the Nuestra Señora de Atocha, the S.S. Central America, the 1715 Spanish Fleet, maritime treasures from China, the Mediterranean, and more. Visitors will enjoy interesting, interactive experiences of these famous shipwrecks and even have the opportunity to participate in several "Shipwreck Treasure Hunting Experiences" the museum offers, as well as make select art gallery and shipwreck gift purchases.

Imagine what it must have been like in 1912, on board the Titanic—celebrating its maiden voyage with over 2,000 fellow passengers—and then tragedy strikes and you’re one of the few survivors watching from a lifeboat as the lifeless steamer disappears amidst the dark, cold night. Or follow the triumphant stories of brave explorers seeking to uncover the vast ocean treasures lost centuries ago—some of which is now on exhibit in the St. Augustine Shipwreck Museum.


Titanic and White Star Line

The R.M.S. Titanic sank on its maiden voyage on April 15, 1912. It was the largest and most luxurious steamship passenger liner of it's day. The St. Augustine Shipwreck Museum displays numerous artifacts of historical significance as well as several props fro the Titanic movie within its exhibits.
