Clue 80

Your 80th Clue

Don’t stray far,
stay close to where you are
Coffee and chocolate shop
Wood balcony seen on top
Home of the first General who was black
Came from Haiti and never went back
In charge of his militia that he would coach
He and his men guarded the southern approach.
The Salcedo house is now a place you can stay
Name the General who lived here back in the day.

Remember this rhyme to bring you some ease…
Moss grows on the NORTH side of trees.
The Sun rises in the EAST and sets in the WEST.
The Birds know to do what’s best
In the winter SOUTH they fly!
And if something is close, it’s also NIGH.
