Clue 103

Your 103rd Clue

A building and house that looks the same
As some you’ve seen with a different name.
This Historic place does have range
Museum, wedding venue and Women’s Exchange
But this home has seen its share
Of owners who have come to care.
A Spanish Treasurer, British Governor too
Rebuilt in 1837 with the Peck family debut.
Seth Peck and his family stayed almost 100 years
Filled the place with laughter and tears
But when finally no heir remained
Willed it to the city for their gain
Leaving us with one last question…
What was Seth Peck’s chosen profession?

_ _ _ _ _ _

Remember this rhyme to bring you some ease…
Moss grows on the NORTH side of trees.
The Sun rises in the EAST and sets in the WEST.
The Birds know to do what’s best
In the winter SOUTH they fly!
And if something is close, it’s also NIGH.
